Cardiff City player ratings as star continues white-hot form and midfielder shines again
Jak Alnwick 6
Rarely tested, good with his feet. A decent night for the goalkeeper. Had to made a late save from Rocco Vata to maintain a point.
Perry Ng 6

Defended well and pressed high up the pitch on occasion. Good in possession, too.
Dimitrios Goutas 6
Barely gave Vakoun Bayo a sniff. A consistent performer who rarely lets you down.
Jesper Daland 6
Dovetailed nicely with Goutas at the back, always impresses at the other end of the pitch with his size and surprisingly neat footwork. Sign up to our daily Cardiff City newsletter here.
Callum O'Dowda 6
Linked up well with Willock ahead of him but needed to clear that ball before Vakoun Bayo's equaliser at the end.
Andy Rinomhota 7
He helped Cardiff to remain robust in midfield. Muscled players off the ball and kept things ticking - but ideally needs more quality at the top end.
Calum Chambers 8 (star man)
Put in a huge challenge early on to help set up a good Willock chance. Was even better in the second half and played a part in Ashford's goal. Really growing into that midfield role in a City shirt.
Alex Robertson 6
Played slightly more advanced and tried to break down the stubborn Hornets defence. Had one low effort saved by Jonathan Bond.
Cian Ashford 8
Another really positive outing, who once again enjoyed the contest against Yasser Larouci. Showed quick feet to wriggle out of situations. Top finish to open the scoring, a man playing with confidence.

Rubin Colwill 6
Tasked with playing that false 9 role and it's a tough ask for him. You can tell he's not wholly comfortable but gives his all. Fizzed one shot wide in the second half.
Chris Willock 7
Had a brilliant, whipped effort saved by Bond early on. Looked dangerous on a couple of occasions.
Subs
Ollie Tanner (Willock 68) 6 - Had one burst upfield and Cardiff could have won it if he found Robertson - but he didn't.
Yakou Meite (Colwill 79) 6 - Held the ball up really well on occasion - released Tanner for the aforementioned breakaway.
Joel Bagan (Ashford 88) NA
Joe Ralls (Robertson 88) NA
