Celtic fans face Champions League glamour away day BAN for Madrid or Munich as Rodgers bats away flare question

Celtic fans are facing a UEFA sweat over their trip to Madrid or Munich.

Euro chiefs will look into an incident from Villa Park which occurred after Adam Idah’s first goal in his side’s 4-2 loss. A smoke bomb landed on the pitch from the Celtic section of the ground and it could land the Scottish champions in hot water.

Celtic were fined earlier in the season for the lighting of pyros during their Champions League encounter in Dortmund. UEFA had threatened a one-match ban on away fans if there was another incidence in the next two years and now the club must wait for details of the report from Match Delegate Adrian D Casha, from Malta, Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers did not wish to discuss the situation as he said: “I am not even thinking about that. I am just talking about football.”
