Celtic news bulletin as Daniel Cummings 'problem' identified and frightening Daizen Maeda gets big licks
Andy Walker has pinpointed the main issue surrounding Daniel Cummings at Celtic.
The youngster - who has been banging in the goals at Youth and B Team level - is wanted by West Ham and the English Premier League outfit watched a couple of bids booted out before the deadline with his contract up in the summer. The Hammers are closing in on a pre-contract, but his lack of top team action at Parkhead is one that has caught former striker Walker by surprise.
He made an unexpected cameo off the bench in the Champions League against Aston Villa for Adam Idah after Kyogo was sold to Rennes and Johnny Kenny unavailable. But in the Premiership he has been non-existent, a similar story last night as the Hoops ran riot by smashing six past Dundee under the lights in Glasgow's east end.

Walker reckons the fact no-one has seen him is the problem and believes if he isn't going to get the chance at Celtic, then why not move on and try make the grade elsewhere. He told Go Radio: "He's the one I thought would have got some game time.
"He's scoring goals regularly in the UEFA Youth League. Unbelievably he came on to make an appearance against Aston Villa out of nowhere. Celtic have had games at Parkhead this season when they are 5-0 up at half-time but we haven't seen any young players coming on.
"So again, if he is someone who doesn't think he is going to get an opportunity then why not go somewhere else and see if you can make the grade. No one has seen him, that is the problem. Unless you are watching the Youth League then no one has seen him play."
Meanwhile, Daizen Maeda continues to grab the headlines as he scored another double. His second goal in particular caught the eye as he perfectly executed a lobbed effort over a helpless Trevor Carson.
He's a key player for the champions and former top flight hitman Lee Miller has named the one thing that frightens him about the Japan star. He's also branded him a nightmare for defenders as he waxed lyical over the attacker and 'one of the best goals' he's ever witnessed.
He told BBC Sportsound: "The thing that frightens me, he [Daizen Maeda] never looks tired. He is a defender's nightmare. I do not know where he gets the energy from. That goal he scored tonight [his second, chipping Trevor Carson], that's one of the best goals I've seen. The finish is top drawer. I felt sorry for Trevor Carson tonight; the finishes were top, top-drawer. They were phenomenal."
Elsewhere, some late transfer business has gone through at Parkhead with Adam Montgomery heading out on loan to Queen's Park. The Spiders come up against Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday in the Scottish Cup fifth round and boss Callum Davidson is buzzing over his latest recruit. He worked with him at St Johnstone and has no doubt how big a role he can play at Hampden until the summer.
He told the Queen's Park website: “We are extremely pleased to be bringing Adam in. He is a player I know well having worked with him previously at St Johnstone and we know he will add real quality to the squad.
"He can play in a number of positions down the left hand side and that flexibility will be very important to us in terms of giving us options down that side of the team. We have absolutely no doubt he will have a big role to play for us for the remainder of the season.”
