Celtic are putting preparations in place for a title party with their fans set to descend on Parkhead.

The Hoops wrapped up the Premiership in style with a five-star display at Kilmarnock, thumping Derek McInnes' side who had previously held an Indian sign over them this season. It took only minutes for Adam Idah to open the scoring and Daizen Maeda quickly followed up with another.

James Forrest grabbed one and a trademark Matt O'Riley double made it five as an electric display blew away Killie, who did find the net through Danny Armstrong but saw it disallowed as a VAR check found there was an offside in the build-up.

Hoops fans are used to these titles after years of domination but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable for them to celebrate and they are planning a big party tonight. North Curve Celtic shared a graphic on social media which read: "Welcome the champions back to Paradise after Kilmarnock vs Celtic. 15/05/24."

The first-half display from their team filled them with such confidence that they were able to share it at half-time to drum up as much interest as they could. The club are well prepared and images show a stage being set up outside the stadium, presumable so Brendan Rodgers and his players can welcome the support.

There will be further celebrations at the weekend when they are presented with the trophy after the home game against St Mirren.
