A Celtic star surprised pupils at Glasgow schools after winning the Premier Sports Cup.

The Hoops scooped the trophy on Sunday, December 15, after battling against Rangers in an action-packed match at Hampden Park.

The game, which went to extra time, saw Celtic win 5 - 4 in penalties.

After winning the cup, Portuguese midfielder Paulo Bernardo visited schools in the city's East End with the silverware on Tuesday, December 17.

The footballer visited four primary schools: Dalmarnock, Riverbank, Sacred Heart, and St Timothy's.

In pictures posted online by the club, the 22-year-old footy star could be seen signing autographs and posing for photographs with the chuffed school kids.

A spokesperson for Celtic Football Club said: "Over 200 Primary 5 pupils from local East End schools were joined by surprise guest Paulo Bernardo along with the Premier Sports Cup."
