Celtic transfer latest as Louie Barry decision 'made' and Ronaldo holds the keys to Raul Moro move

It looks like Louie Barry could be staying at Aston Villa.

Reports claim that Celtic have lodged a £5million bid with the English Premier League outfit for the 21-year-old, including another £5m in add-ons and a buy-back clause. Lens have tried to gazump them with a £6m offer of their own and similar extras. But the Daily Mail now claim that Unai Emery has decided to hold on to Barry for this window at least. The Spanish boss has okayed a new contract offer for the England U18 international and could decide to loan him out again towards the end of the window

Meanwhile Brazil legend Ronaldo will be the man who decides whether Celtic can sign Real Valladolid winger Raul Moro. Reports claim that the Hoops are weighing up an £8.5m bid for the wide man as Brendan Rodgers looks to upgrade his options on the flanks.

The 22-year-old headed to La Liga from Lazio in a £2m switch last summer after impressing on loan. But interest is now ramping up in Mora, with Ajax also said to be chasing his signature. The Dutch giants looked to have won the race last week but a deal is yet to be confirmed.

Celtic have had Moro watched and could yet steal in to try and nab him. However, they will have to meet Valladolid's asking price first And owner Ronaldo - the striking Icon of the 90s and 2000s with the Selecao, Barcelona, Inter and Real Madrid - is the man who will decide whether or not Mora is allowed to leave. He seems set on cashing in, although that hasn't gone down too well with fans.

Finally, things appear to be going from bad to worse for former Celtic favourite Jota. The Portuguese winger has reportedly been told to stay away from Rennes first team training, alongside ex-Rangers star Glen Kamara and a number of other senior squad members.

Jorge Sampaoli wants his own players in the door and the Ligue 1 club are set to get tough when it comes to clearing the decks for the Argentine boss, reports Le Parisien. After finally escaping Saudi Arabia, Jota finds himself on the outside looking in once again after being told to train separately from the first team squad.

One of the player Sampaoli is thought to be keen on brigning in is Jota's former Parkhead teammate Kyogo. Talks are said to have taken place over a potential move for the 30-year-old, with Celtic weighing up whether to cash in on their Japanese star.
