Arsenal defender 'targeted' by former Premier League manager

Among the players that could depart this month is Polish defender Jakub Kiwior, with reports suggesting he is wanted by French club Marseille. According to La Provence, the 24-year-old is one of two players being targeted by Roberto De Zerbi's club.

Marseille are currently second in the Ligue 1 standings, 10 points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain, having played a game less. The article states De Zerbi hopes his side can challenge for the title in the second half of the campaign, but will need reinforcements if they are to do so.

Kiwior signed for Arsenal from Spezia Calcio in January 2023, but has made just 14 appearances across all competitions under Mikel Arteta this season.
