Celtic vs Hearts team news confirmed as Brendan Rodgers makes Daizen Maeda return call

Celtic know a win over Hearts this afternoon can take them one step closer to the league title.

The Hoops are three points clear of rivals Rangers with just four games to go including the derby at Parkhead next weekend that could decide where the trophy ends up at the end of May. Brendan Rodgers, though, will know how difficult a job his side have on their hands today as the Jambos have already scalped their opponents twice this season.

The manager had some personnel decisions to make while Steven Naismith also had plenty at stake when picking his starting XI for the trip to Glasgow.

A win for Hearts guarantees them third spot with Kilmarnock not in action until tomorrow away to Rangers. They need a two-point swing over this weekend to seal best of the rest and the head coach will want to gain that this afternoon.
