Challenge Cup fourth round draw details as Hull FC and Hull KR to learn next opponent
Hull FC and Hull KR will find out their next Challenge Cup opponents on Saturday, with the draw for the fourth round taking place during the BBC's live Super League coverage.
The draw will be held at half-time during the televised fixture between St Helens and Salford Red Devils at the Totally Wicked Stadium (kick-off 5:30pm), one of six opening round fixtures to start the league season. It will feature all 16 winners from the third round cup ties over the weekend – including Bradford Bulls, who beat Castleford Tigers 18-16 at Odsal.
Elsewhere, the remaining 11 top-flight clubs will be joined by four more Championship clubs, with Featherstone Rovers, Batley Bulldogs, Widnes Vikings, and Oldham all in the hat. Meanwhile, both Hull and Rovers booked their places into the last 16 after wins over York Acorn and York Knights, winning 52-6 and 44-2, respectively.

Holders Wigan Warriors kicked off their defence with a 48-12 win at Sheffield Eagles, while St Helens beat a spirited West Hull outfit 38-0. At Headingley, Leeds Rhinos hammered Wests Warriors 92-0, with Wakefield Trinity putting new League 1 side Goole Vikings to the sword 82-0.
The big talking points were the ties featuring amateur sides, with Hull, Leeds, and St Helens all facing community club opposition – something Hull coach John Cartwright, a big admirer of the cup, is fully behind.
"For me, it's an exciting concept," he told Hull Live after Saturday's game. "It's something I've watched since I was a very young kid back at home. I've always wanted to be involved in it.
"If we keep winning, we'll be coming up against the better sides, but we'll be throwing everything at us getting to Wembley – that's for sure."
