A Scottish Cup tie under the lights always has a special feel to it. Especially when the TV cameras are in town.

And that's what fans of St Mirren and Hearts have got to look forward to, as the Premiership sides battle it out for the final spot in the quarter-finals. Stephen Robinson's Saints have home advantage and fans in Paisley will be dreaming of success in the Scottish Cup for the first time since back in 1987. They have proved a match for almost anyone in the Premiership on their day, but inconsistency has blighted a season where they will feel they could've been competing for third place in the table - beating Rangers in December was a bit statement, but that's been followed by defeats to struggling sides including St Johnstone and Kilmarnock.

Hearts meanwhile endured a nightmare start to the campaign that ultimately cost Steven Naismith his job. Neil Critchley took his time turn things around, with skipper Lawrence Shankland badly out form and an embarrassing Europa Conference League exit leaving fans with big relegation concerns. But they now look to have turned a corner, and hitting Dundee for six last time out will have been a major confidence boost.
