UCLA women's basketball looks to bounce back from its first loss of the season when it takes on No. 22 Michigan State on Saturday.

The No. 1 Bruins (23-1) were upset by No. 6 USC 71-60 on the road Thursday night as player of the year candidate JuJu Watkins had an all-time performance, scoring 38 points with 11 rebounds, five assists and a whopping eight blocks. Watkins scored 12 of the Trojans' 21 field goals in the game.

UCLA's offense was stymied against USC, as it shot 35.1% from the field and surrendered 20 turnovers.

The Bruins and star forward Lauren Betts will be tasked with stopping a trio of Spartans scoring in double figures this season, as Julia Ayrault, Grace VanSlooten and Theryn Hallock are averaging 15.2, 14.8 and 13.6 points per game this season, respectively.
