Chelsea handed huge transfer boost as £22m January 'agreement' reached after double update
Chelsea could be set for a busy second half of the January transfer window with up to four exits and two incomings sanctioned. Enzo Maresca got off to a great start at Stamford Bridge but form has been mixed recently with injuries and limited minutes for some resulting in big decisions needing to be made.
The likes of Ben Chilwell, Cesare Casadei and Carney Chukwuemeka had already been made available for transfer with Christopher Nkunku and Renato Veiga potentially two who could also move on. football.london understands the Blues are open to selling the latter but only on a permanent deal.
As for Nkunku, interest from Bayern Munich emerged after Chelsea made checks on the availability of Mathys Tel. The France international has struggled for regular minutes this season and is valued by Chelsea at more than £60million, as football.london understands.

The first two weeks of the January transfer window were relatively quiet but the winter trading period now looks to have kicked into life with Aston Villa the first Premier League team to agree a marquee signing this month. After lengthy talks with Borussia Dortmund, a £22million (€26m) deal was agreed for the arrival of Donyell Malen.
With Dortmund now having funds available, Chelsea could demand significant fees for one of Chukwuemeka or Veiga with the German club showing a keen interest in both where any potential fees acquired could go towards an approach to Bayern for Tel.
While the duo looked set to depart permanently if there was to be any movement, Chelsea are open to a loan spell for Chukwuemeka with Veiga only wanting a temporary move so he can play at centre-back, as per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
As evidenced by the exit stance changes from Chelsea on Chukwuemeka and Veiga himself, many more twists and turns could yet occur.
Dortmund having money to sign new players though is a guarantee and therefore there is always a chance that both Chukwuemeka and Veiga move to Dortmund which would allow Chelsea to make a formal move for Tel if that is the aim.
Chelsea are in search of signing a right-sided attacker who can play through the middle and on the left, according to The Telegraph.
Dortmund's Jamie Gittens is one option with long-term admiration from West London but it looks as though Tel is their January priority.
