Chelsea duo Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Carney Chukwuemeka have been offered to Everton if Armando Broja is going to be sent back. The Toffees want to end Broja's loan at Goodison Park because he is out injured until April with ankle ligament damage.

Broja, 23, has made just six appearances for Everton, failing to score or assist. David Moyes' side want to free up his loan spot to boost their firepower and Chelsea don't want to just accept Broja back. According to The Mirror, they want the Toffees to take one of their other surplus players.

Dewsbury-Hall, who made his first Premier League start of the season during Chelsea's 3-1 win over Wolves on Monday, and former Aston Villa midfielder Chukwuemeka have been proposed. Everton, however, would prefer a striker and are speaking to Chelsea about sending Broja back.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of his side's trip to Brighton, Everton boss Moyes said: "At the moment, I don't think there's a final decision that's been taken.

"But I think what you're suggesting in the conversations we've had is that is a possibility, but at this moment in time, it's not confirmed quite yet."

Having arrived for £30million from Leicester in the summer, Dewsbury-Hall could leave Chelsea after just six months. He has been an integral figure in their Conference League campaign, scoring twice, but his top-flight minutes have been limited. However, the 26-year-old did play 77 minutes against Wolves last time out.

Asked about Dewsbury-Hall's future after injuries to Enzo Fernandez and Romeo Lavia, Enzo Maresca said on Monday: "No. We are not going to take a decision on Kiernan because of Romeo and Enzo.

"They are injured, absolutely. I said already, a few days ago or weeks ago, that the intention is to keep Kiernan but then because we are in January anything can happen."

As for Chukwuemeka, he has struggled to establish himself as a regular first-team starter since joining for £18m from Aston Villa in 2022. He has played just five times for Chelsea this season.

Maresca revealed last month that Chukwuemeka, alongside Ben Chilwell, could leave Chelsea in January. "There are players that unfortunately didn’t play a lot with us in all the competitions, like Chilwell, like Carney," Maresca said.

"Probably they’re the first that will want to leave because they work every day because they want to play. If they don’t play probably they are thinking to leave. Each player has a different situation so we’ll see if anyone knocks the door and says I want to leave. We’ll try to find a solution."
