Chelsea ready for busy end to transfer window after fresh exit agreed
Chelsea have finalised the sale of Cesare Casadei back to Italy, as they continue to clear-out unwanted players.
The 22-year-old midfielder has joined Torino in a £12.5million deal that includes a 25 per cent sell-on clause.
Casadei returns to Serie A two-and-a-half years after joining Chelsea from Inter, having made just 17 first-team appearances for the Blues.
“I’m returning to Italy after an incredible experience in England,” said Casadei.

“I’m thrilled with my choice to join Torino. The club’s history, its project, and its ambitions convinced me that this is the right place for me. I can’t wait to wear the Torino jersey, step onto the field, and give my all for the fans.
“A new chapter begins, and I’m ready.”
Casadei could be the first of a number of player exits from Chelsea before Monday’s transfer deadline.
Joao Felix, Axel Disasi, Carney Chukwuemeka, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Ben Chilwell could also leave.
Aston Villa and AC Milan are in talks over a deal for Felix, Disasi has been linked to Tottenham, Everton and Borussia Dortmund are said to be keen Chukwuemeka and West Ham have been credited with interest in Dewsbury-Hall.
Crystal Palace have made an approach to sign Ben Chilwell, with talks ongoing over a loan deal.
Chelsea are still looking at No9s, wingers and midfielders, either for now or in the summer, in what could be a busy final few hours of the window at Stamford Bridge.
