Chelsea sent exciting Nicolas Jackson message as 'important' Liverpool title race advantage clear
Former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink praised Nicolas Jackson - saying there is 'much more to come' from the Senegal international.
The forward has been in fine form this season with nine goals in 17 Premier League appearances. However, he has only found the net twice in five appearances in December.
Jackson played 73 minutes on Boxing Day as Chelsea slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Fulham at Stamford Bridge. Christopher Nkunku came on in the substitution for the home side but it is Jackson who Hasselbaink has been excited by up front for the Blues so far this season.

Hasselbaink watched on as he saw Cole Palmer surpass his record for most goals in a calendar year by a Chelsea player in the Premier League, the midfielder slotted home his 26th goal of 2024. Before the match though, the former Netherlands striker explained what he likes about Jackson.
"I like him. I’ve always liked him." Hasselbaink told Amazon Prime. "He’s got everything and he’s quick. When he doesn’t have time to think, he scores. With instinctive goals, he does exceptionally well.
"He’s scoring really important goals at the moment. For a striker, that is very important."
The pundit also touched on the element of Jackson's game that could do with improvement. However, Hasselbaink is looking forward to seeing more out of the 23-year-old.
"His concentration has to be a little bit better and there are certain parts of his game that he still can improve," Hasselbaink added. "When he has his back to the goal, holding the ball up or just keeping it simple.
"When he has got a little bit more time [on the ball] his concentration levels have to be a little bit up. There is so much more to come from this boy, in my opinion."
