Chelsea vs Tottenham date set as new Premier League TV fixtures confirmed

A new date for Chelsea’s home match with Tottenham has been confirmed as a fresh round of Premier League TV fixtures were announced on Friday.

The Blues were set to host Spurs in late February, only for Chelsea’s involvement in the Carabao Cup final to see the derby postponed.

The fierce derby will now take place on Thursday, May 2 at 7.30pm and broadcast live on Sky Sports. It is the same night at the Europa League semi-finals, which could include Liverpool and West Ham.

It leaves Spurs with a daunting run of Arsenal at home, Chelsea away and then Liverpool away in the space of eight days, before concluding their season at home to Burnley and, on the final day, away at Sheffield United. The Liverpool fixture will also be shown live on Sky Sports.

Chelsea will travel to Aston Villa before the derby, and then welcome West Ham to Stamford Bridge three days later.
