Two changes are also made for Graham Potter’s Irons side from their draw at Villa Park, with Andy Irving making his first Premier League start in midfield after injuries to both Lucas Paqueta and Edson Alvarez. West Ham’s captain and talisman Jarrod Bowen, however, returns from his own injury absence to lead the line; but the game comes too soon for new loan signing Evan Ferguson and James Ward-Prowse, recalled from his own spell at Nottingham Forest.
