Chelsea wonderkid signs new five-year contract to end transfer speculation
Chelsea wonderkid Josh Acheampong has ended intense speculation surrounding his future by committing to the west London club. the talented 18-year-old has put pen to paper on a new five-year contract to stay at Stamford Bridge a week after getting his first start for the club in the UEFA Conference League win over Astana.
Acheampong had been barred from playing for the Blues in October until he signed a new deal, leading to speculation the talented full-back could leave the club, with the likes of Real Madrid showing an interest.
But Acheampong has committed his future to the Blues by penning a new five-year deal.

The problems had intially surfaced when Acheampong turned his back on a long-term deal to stay at the club, football.london dunerstands. That led to Chelsea taking the decision not to play the defender until the situation was rectified.
Acheampong played the full 90 minutes of the Blues' Conference League clash against Astana in freezing Kazakhstan on Thursday night, suggesting the impasse over the new deal had been broken.
And that has proven to be the case, with Acehampong signing a deal with will see him remain ain west London until 2029.
Acheampong made his senior debut for the Blues on May 2 of this year, coming on as a late substitute against Tottenham at Stamford Bridge. The London-born defender was then included in Chelsea's squad for their pre-season tour of the United States in the summer, where he and his academy teammate Tyrique George got some minutes under Enzo Maresca across the Atlantic.
The defender was brought on in the 5-0 Carabao Cup victory against League Two side Barrow last month in what was just his second senior appearance to date before that start against Astana.
