Chelsea's Victor Osimhen transfer plan clear as £95m trio exit can boost Enzo Maresca budget
Chelsea are reportedly not expected to launch another swoop for Victor Osimhen in the January transfer window, just months after they missed out on a deal for the free-scoring and in-demand Nigeria international.
The 25-year-old joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli last summer - after his relationship with the Serie A outfit broke down.
Since moving to Turkey, Osimhen has scored 12 goals from 15 matches across all competitions, two of which came in last month's Europa League victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

But, according to The Athletic, Chelsea will not make a new play for the Napoli striker in the New Year.
As reported by football.london in September, Chelsea launched a last-ditch attempt to sign Osimhen on a season-long loan and even proposed an obligation to buy him at the end of the season.
However, it is now suggested the Blues, who are currently second in the Premier League table, are not looking to bolster their squad in the upcoming January transfer window.
The report adds that recruiting a striker is part of the long-term planning at Stamford Bridge, with Ipswich Town's Liam Delap one of several strikers who have been scouted, though it is said additions in that department can wait until next summer.
Chelsea are currently well-stacked in attack and also boast the likes of Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto, Noni Madueke, Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku in their ranks.
However, Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are reportedly three players who could leave the club in January - with the trio struggling for regular game time under Enzo Maresca.
Chelsea were due to play west London neighbours Fulham at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day, before rounding off their 2024 schedule against Ipswich on December 30 (7.45pm).
