Cheltenham Town midfielder Harrison Sohna has joined National League club Wealdstone on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old joined Cheltenham in the summer after a successful trial, having previously been on the books of Aston Villa and Sunderland.

He has made 12 appearances in all competitions, scoring in the EFL Trophy group stage win at Newport County AFC in August.

Boss Michael Flynn has regularly spoken about the Gloucester-born left-footer's technical prowess, but believes he needs to work on his all-round game before he is ready for regular League Two football.

"He's not been good enough," Flynn said after the 2-0 at Harrogate Town on Friday, in which Sohna did not feature.

""He's a good footballer, technically good, but nights like this, that's where he needs to improve. He needs games."

First year professional Freddy Willcox is also set for a loan move to build his senior experience.

Cheltenham, who loaned Tom Pett to Oldham Athletic on Monday, are hoping to bring at least two more players in before the transfer window shuts.
