Chris Brunt laments 'worst thing' as West Brom are dumped out of FA Cup
Andoni Iraola praised his team's performance as Bournemouth overcame their striker shortage with a resounding 5-1 FA Cup third-round victory against West Brom.
Despite losing forwards Evanilson and Enes Unal to serious injuries earlier in the week, Iraola's reorganised attack shone, with Dango Ouattara netting twice and fellow wide players Justin Kluivert and Antoine Semenyo also finding the back of the net.
Young forward Daniel Jebbison, freshly recalled from a loan at Watford, came off the bench to score the fifth goal.

"The forwards played very well, most of them scored goals so it’s really pleasing," Iraola said. "Dango has played very well, he has played number nine in his national team. We have players who can help us there even if it is not their best position.
"A lot of players have played in positions they are not used to and everyone has helped us."
The Cherries initially found themselves under pressure after Caleb Taylor headed in an early goal for the Championship's sixth-placed Baggies. However, Kluivert responded by converting a David Brooks cross at the far post to level the score in the 27th minute.
Shortly after, Kluivert set up Ouattara with a smart reverse pass, leading to a finely placed finish beneath Joe Wildsmith. Just before the break, Brooks initiated another Bournemouth advance with a dynamic midfield run.
His pass was inch-perfect for Ouattara, who, thriving in the central striker's role, coolly netted his second past Wildsmith. After half-time, Semenyo smashed the fourth goal into the top of the net, and substitute Jebbison sealed the victory with his first goal for the Cherries.
Despite being on the verge of a move to Valencia, defender Max Aarons played the opening 45 minutes. "There are things ongoing right now with Max," Iraola said. "I have to thank him because we asked him for 45 minutes. He is a top professional and he has given his best."
Post-match, Bournemouth confirmed that Danish midfielder Philip Billing had moved to Napoli on loan until season's end. The 28 year old, pivotal in Bournemouth’s promotion campaign last season, has featured in 10 Premier League games this term, starting just once.
Chris Brunt, still at the helm of West Brom on an interim basis as they finalise their new manager following Carlos Corberan's departure before Christmas, reflected on the loss: "It’s disappointing, obviously, to lose. A heavy defeat is never easy to take.
"We started well, went a goal ahead and that was probably the worst thing that could have happened. Bournemouth showed their Premier League quality on the day."
Reports suggest former Basel and Young Boys boss Raphael Wicky will assume control at The Hawthorns next week.
"If that’s the case then that’s my job done," Brunt said. "If the new guy comes in next week then good luck to him."
