City's postponed match at Maidenhead receives new date
YORK City's match with Maidenhead United has a new date.
After the initial match was postponed due to a frozen pitch, York will now travel to Maidenhead on Tuesday, February 25 (7.45pm).
The match was originally due to take place on Saturday, January 11, but cold temperatures across the country saw the National League come to a halt, with only two matches taking place that weekend.
Maidenhead had made the decision to postpone the match on the Friday afternoon as to avoid causing problems for the travelling support.
Tickets purchased for the original fixture in January will be automatically transferred to the new date, but should a supporter now no longer be able to attend, they have been asked to contact commercial@maidenheadunitedfc.org to arrange a full refund for their ticket.
The new fixture will also take place in midweek between York's home match against FC Halifax Town on the Saturday, February 22 (3pm) and their visit to Hartlepool United on Saturday, March 1 (3pm).
