Club tried to 'break' Nottingham Forest deal as fresh transfer claim made
Real Betis look set to renew their interest in Aston Villa defender Alex Moreno this summer, according to reports.
Spanish publication Que says the Betis had attempted to "break" his loan with Nottingham Forest in January but the Reds did not want to part company.
The 31-year-old, who joined Forest on loan from Villa last August, has made 16 appearances for the Reds this season with just 10 starts coming in the Premier League.

And it is claimed that Betis are lining up the defender for a move in the summer with his future likely to come under the spotlight.
Que reports: "Manu Fajardo, the sporting director of Real Betis, continues to work on improving the green-and-white squad despite the fact that the winter transfer market has already closed.
"According to 'Radio Sevilla', Betis want Álex Moreno for next season, they already tried to break his loan at Nottingham Forest last January but the English team did not want to break his loan."
Betis' left-back position is said to be one of the weakest areas of the team, but Moreno is not the only player to be under consideration.
It is said that Leeds United's Junior Firpo is another name that has featured highly on their list of potential targets.
The former Barcelona defender is trying to help Leeds return to the Premier League with the Whites currently top of the Championship.
They are two points clear of Sheffield United in second.
