Cole Palmer would 'make bigger waves' at Manchester United despite Chelsea success
Former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre believes Cole Palmer would be “making bigger waves” playing for Manchester United instead of Chelsea.
Palmer has 12 goals and six assists in 19 matches so far in the Premier League this season for the West London club, in his second season after leaving Manchester City for £40million.
The 22-year-old scored 27 goals and registered 15 assists last season, too, as he was named the PFA Young Player of the Year and the PFA Fans' Player of the Year.

Silvestre does think City were “keen to sell Cole Palmer” and that he would not have crossed the divide between City and United, even though Palmer was a United fan when growing up in Wythenshawe.
Chelsea’s star player has more goals than United’s top goal scorers this season combined, with Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford having four goals each.
14 players have played for both Manchester clubs: Carlos Tevez, Denis Law, Brian Kidd, Peter Schmeichel, Mark Robins, Sammy McIlroy, Andrei Kanchelskis, Owen Hargreaves, John Gidman, Wyn Davies, Terry Cooke, Andy Cole, Peter Beardsley and Peter Barnes.
Silvestre told BoyleSports, who offer the latest Premier League betting, said: "Manchester City were keen to sell Cole Palmer, but they wouldn’t have sold him to Manchester United and crossed that divide.
"What I will say is that Palmer would be making bigger waves at United than he is doing at Chelsea with his current form.
"Not many players have swapped the two Manchester clubs so I don’t see it as a missed opportunity for United, it would’ve been blocked by City.
