Commentators stunned as 'Sam Warburton's doppelganger' seen at Welsh rugby match
The Irish commentary team for Scarlets' clash with Munster were left stumped after mistaking an individual for Sam Warburton.
Munster defeated Scarlets 29-8 at Thomond Park on Saturday evening, with a number of Wales' Six Nations squad members on display.
Macs Page bagged a fine solo score on the night and it was branded as "outstanding" by Premier Sports commentary duo Ryle Nugent and Alan Quinlan. However, it wasn't the only moment in the match that left the commentators stunned.

Play had been stopped by referee Federico Vedovelli, with Munster flanker Jack O'Donoghue and Scarlets duo Vaea Fifita and Archer Holz receiving treatment. Looking after Holz was an individual who looks almost exactly like British and Irish Lions legend Warburton, and the RTE commentary team of Donal Lenihan and Hugh Cahill were left open-mouthed.
"Is that Sam Warburton there?," asked Cahill, to which Lenihan replied: "It looks like him, doesn't it?!"
"It's not him but it looks like him...it is him!," said Cahill. "No, it's not Sam Warburton," added Lenihan.
"It looks like him though, doesn't it?," said Cahill, with Lenihan replying with: "It's unbelievable yeah..."
"His stunt double! He was commentating last week in Murrayfield where we were," joked Cahill.
"He was a very good seven, to be fair to him, but he can't be in two places at once," said Lenihan.
"The absolute head of him, though," added Cahill.
Little did the Irish duo know at the time, the man in question is Ben Warburton, Sam's twin brother, who works as a physio for the Scarlets. He graduated as a physiotherapist in 2010 from Cardiff University and has also worked for Dragons RFC, Cardiff Rugby and Wales Sevens.
