LUKE ‘The Nuke’ Littler is confirmed as featuring in the 2025 Toto Dutch Darts Masters.

This will be the second World Series of Darts event of the new year, following on from this week’s Bahrain Darts Masters in which Littler is also competing to defend his title.

The 17-year-old Warringtonian also reached the final of the Dutch Darts Masters last year, but lost 8-6 to Michael van Gerwen on his home patch.

MVG, who Littler defeated in the World Darts Championship Final at Alexandra Palace on January 3, is not taking part in Bahrain on Thursday but will be in Maaspoort Den Bosch to attempt to retain his crown.

The Dutch Darts Masters will be played over two days, January 24-25, and Littler headlines a star-studded field in what is anticipated to be a bumper Dutch crowd.

The 16-player tournament will see eight PDC superstars take on eight Benelux representatives in Friday’s first round.

World number one Luke Humphries, who won the New Zealand Darts Masters on the World Series circuit last August, will be participating.

World Championship semi-finalists Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey will debut in Den Bosch, following their Alexandra Palace exploits and their inclusion in the 2025 Premier League.

Former world champions Rob Cross and Gerwyn Price will also return to Dutch soil, with 2023 World Matchplay winner Nathan Aspinall completing the eight-player line-up of PDC representatives.

Dutch number two Danny Noppert tops the list of Benelux representatives, which also includes 2022 winner and reigning UK Open champion Dimitri Van den Bergh.

Dirk van Duijvenbode - the runner-up to Van den Bergh in 2022 - makes his return to home soil, where he will compete alongside World Youth Champion Gian van Veen.

Five-time world champion Raymond van Barneveld will aim to roll back the years in front of his partisan home crowd, as a resurgent Jermaine Wattimena makes his World Series of Darts return.

Kevin Doets - fresh from his breakthrough run to the last 16 at the World Darts Championship - will be in action alongside debutant Richard Veenstra, with World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker missing out on the event due to family commitments.

The World Series of Darts circuit will also visit Denmark, America, Poland, Australia and New Zealand during 2025, before the season-ending World Series of Darts Finals taking place in Amsterdam.
