Cooper Kupp next team odds: Broncos, Commanders favored to land Rams WR

Cooper Kupp made waves ahead of Super Bowl 59 when he revealed the Los Angeles Rams had told him he would be traded during the 2025 NFL offseason.

Kupp, 31, has spent his entire career with the Rams since being selected in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft. He blossomed into a quality receiver for Los Angeles and enjoyed his best season in 2021, when he led the NFL in receptions (145), receiving yards (1,947) and receiving touchdowns (16).

Since then, Kupp has failed to eclipse 1,000 yards in a season while struggling with injuries. He is set to have a $29.78 million cap hit in 2025, and the Rams are looking to trade him after he took a back seat to Puka Nacua over the last two seasons.

Where could Kupp end up on the trade market? Plenty of suitors are expected to emerge ahead of his age-32 season. Here's what the latest odds say about Kupp's potential landing spots in 2025 and beyond.

Cooper Kupp landing spots

How would Rodgers fit with the six teams favored to land him? Here's a breakdown of his candidacy for each organization:

Denver Broncos (+500)

The Broncos have a a proven, veteran receiver in Courtland Sutton but could use a stronger No. 2 option to pair with Bo Nix. Kupp would provide an upgrade over Devaughn Vele is the slot and his separation skills could open up more space for speed merchant Marvin Mims Jr.

New England Patriots (+550)

No Patriots player exceeded 674 receiving yards last season, and Demario Douglas led receivers with 66 catches, 621 yards and three touchdowns. New England needs to add proven talent around Drake Maye, and Kupp should be a steady, reliable target for him.

Washington Commanders (+550)

The Commanders need to add a true No. 2 receiver across from Terry McLaurin as they look to level up after a great 2024 season. Kupp would be an ideal fit as a physical slot receiver who can get open over the middle of the field and open up more space in which McLaurin can operate.

Kansas City Chiefs (+600)

The Chiefs are set to have five veteran receivers hit free agency: DeAndre Hopkins, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Hollywood Brown, Justin Watson and Mecole Hardman. Kupp would be an upgrade over the quintet and would give Kansas City a strong three-man starting unit alongside Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice. Don't sleep on the Chiefs as a landing spot, especially if Travis Kelce decides to retire.

Pittsburgh Steelers (+600)

The Steelers were a potential landing spot for Kupp when rumors swirled around him ahead of the 2024 NFL trade deadline. His combination of slot skills and blocking prowess would make him a nice fit as a complement to George Pickens, a downfield, contested-catch receiver.

Detroit Lions (+800)

The Lions have $46.5 million in cap space despite only having three starters – cornerback Carlton Davis, wide receiver Tim Patrick and right guard Kevin Zeitler – set to hit free agency. Detroit should go all-in to keep its title hopes alive in 2025, so grabbing Kupp as an upgrade over Patrick could be in play. The only hiccup is that Amon-Ra St. Brown primarily plays the slot, so either he or Kupp would have to play outside more.
