A NEW mini sailing event, the Cowes Offshore Series, will feature in the 2025 centenary season of the RORC Season's Points Championship.

This addition is for boats in each IRC Class, with the best five race results counting towards the overall score.

The series, designed for those with less time or resources to travel, allows competition in top-tier events, all starting from Cowes.

The season will run from May to September, with the Cervantes Trophy, the De Guingand Bowl, The Myth of Malham, the Morgan Cup, the Cowes Dinard-St Malo Race, the Channel Race and the Cherbourg Race are all included in the series.

The refurbished RORC Cowes clubhouse will act as the hub of the series, offering crew suppers and social activities for competitors.
