Crysencio Summerville could be dealt another blow after Leeds United exit
Former Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville has struggled to establish himself at West Ham United since his summer move from Elland Road to the London Stadium. He could now be given another blow to his game time.
The 23-year-old was a key player for Daniel Farke and Leeds last season as they made it to the Championship play-off final. He scored 19 goals and provided a further nine assists in 43 Championship appearances.
Failure to earn promotion back to the Premier League made a summer transfer inevitable. He completed a move to West Ham in the summer for around £25 million.

Summerville has, however, struggled for regular starts in the Premier League. He has featured in all but one games, but has only managed one goal and one assist so far.
He could potentially be given a fresh start under new West Ham manager Graham Potter, who was unveiled on Thursday morning, but the latest transfer links suggests that he could fall further down the pecking order. According to talkSPORT’s Alex Crook, the Hammers are ‘tracking developments’ over the future of Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.
The Man United academy graduate has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford and looks set to move on from the club this January. A loan deal looks the most likely option with the player’s wages proving to be a stumbling block.
AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with the player. It is reported that a move to Europe is more likely than a stay in the Premier League with West Ham.
However, the Hammer’s willingness to look at a potential deal means the left wing may be an area that they are looking to add to before the end of the month. If that is the case, it won’t be good news for Summerville as he tries to establish himself as a key player under Potter.
