Crystal Palace star brutally trolls Man United supporter after 4-0 thrashing

Jeffrey Schlupp

Crystal Palace ace Jeffrey Schlupp delivered a cheeky dig at a Manchester United fan following the Eagles' dominant display on Monday, leaving the Red Devils in disarray. Selhurst Park was the stage for a stunning performance that saw Erik ten Hag's men outplayed and overwhelmed in a 4-0 win for the hosts.

Oliver Glasner's impact since taking the helm at Palace has been nothing short of transformative, with the former Eintracht Frankfurt boss instilling a dynamic system that's unleashed the potential of his forward line. Monday night's clash showcased not only Palace's newfound verve, but also the glaring frailties in United's setup.

Michael Olise set the tone with a dazzling individual strike, followed by Jean-Phillippe Mateta doubling the lead with a thumping finish past Andre Onana before the break. The second half saw Tyrick Mitchell effectively seal the deal with a close-range effort, and Olise wasn't done yet, curling a sublime second into the top corner to cap off a rampant evening for the soaring Eagles.

With morale sky-high, it was no surprise when Schlupp seized the moment to playfully target United fan and YouTuber Morgan Burtwistle, aka AngryGinge, in a post-game interaction. In a video clip circulated by Sky Sports, Schlupp was warmly received by YouTuber Specs Gonzalez soon after the final whistle, before encountering a disappointed Burtwistle.

Observing the United cap sported by the defeated YouTuber, the Ghanaian star quipped: "Not too happy man, hold that! ". Schlupp's playful jibe sent fellow Palace fan and social media sensation Andres Felipe Barrientos, known as Yung Filly, into fits of laughter before bidding farewell.

United's supporters were praised after the game by Ten Hag, who said: "It is clear and it is obvious, this is underperforming. We didn't act how we want to do it and it's by far not good enough. "We are very disappointed, but the fans were always behind us and we keep fighting, like the fans did. I was really grateful [to the fans].

"They back us. They see also we have our problems. You have to stick together. You have to take responsibility. The fans gave us such huge and tremendous support."
