Cumbrian darts competition set to return next month
A darts competition is set to make a return to Cumbria.
MKM Cumbria Super Series is returning for 2025, alongside the FES Pest Control Junior Cumbria Super Series.
This year, the series will maintain its format of six events, with the finals scheduled for Saturday, December 6, at the Soccer Bar.
Details for the Summer Grand Slam are also set to be announced soon.
Trevor MacPake of Brathay Lodge Hotel, the main sponsor for the past two years, received special thanks for his support.
The organisers also expressed gratitude to last year’s sponsors and welcomed this year’s sponsors.
The first event of the series is set to take place on Saturday, March 8 at Vickerstown CC.
There will be an entry fee of £10 per participant.
Subsequent events will take place on April 5 (Furness CC), May 31 (Castle House), September 6 (Duddon SSC), October 18 (Ulverston SSC), and November 15 (Soccer Bar).
The main sponsor for the 2025 season is MKM Barrow, with FES Pest Control sponsoring the junior competition.
