Daizen Maeda available to face Bayern Munich as Celtic win red card appeal
Daizen Maeda will be available to play in Celtic's Champions League clash with Bayern Munich on Wednesday night after having his suspension reduced.
Celtic appealed UEFA's two-game ban after the Japanese forward was sent off in the 1-0 win over BSC Young Boys last month.
The 27-year-old was shown a red card in stoppage time for a kick out at an opposition player, not long after Brendan Rodgers' men took a late lead thanks to a Loris Benito own goal.
Having missed out the final league phase game against Aston Villa, Maeda can now return to action when Celtic take on the Bundesliga giants this week.
