Celtic have lost both of their games at Rugby Park this season. But Daizen Maeda is confident the champions-elect will get the job done to rubber-stamp three-in-a-row.

The Hoops require just one point from their final two league games to secure their 12th title in 13 years as the Parkhead side continue their dominance of Scottish football. Celts could even be crowned Premiership winners tonight if Rangers fail to beat Dundee at Ibrox.

Either way, nearly 4,000 Celtic fans will be heading to Kilmarnock tomorrow expecting a title party and Maeda has promised that Brendan Rodgers' side won't let them down. The Japanese flying machine played a pivotal role in Saturday's Glasgow derby win that put Rangers' title dreams to bed for another year.

And now, the fans' favourite is determined to drag the Hoops over the line at Killie tomorrow. Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, he declared: "We will be champions tomorrow!"

Maeda's bold prediction won't be missed by Kilmarnock who have lost just once in four meetings with Celtic this season. Derek McInnes' side have already secured fourth spot and a place in Europe next season and will aim to sign off their final home game of the season in style.
