Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey sent a sweet note to cheerleader Michelle Siemienowski after he accidentally struck her in the head during kickoff.

Siemienowski shared the message from Aubrey, 29, and reflected on the "whirlwind" 24 hours on her Instagram Stories on Monday, Jan. 6.

The cheerleader posted a photo of Aubrey's handwritten note, which appeared to be written on a one-sheet from the Cowboys game.

The kicker's note said, "Michelle, so sorry about hitting you on KO! Hope you are doing well. Love watching y'all!"

Siemienowski also provided an update on how she's doing in the post. "This past 24 hours has been a whirlwind! I got a ton of messages and I wanted to thank you all for checking in and for your kind words! I am all okay, so no need to worry," Siemienowski told her followers.
