Not only are Manchester City currently in the middle of a damning losing streak, winning only one of their last 11 matches, but they have also accumulated the lowest average points per game in the league since start of November.

This season the Blues have played 16 games and during this time they have achieved a points average of 1.69 per game. However, since November 1, Manchester City have only taken on average 0.57 points per game - the lowest of the 20 teams in Premier League.

Last season the league winning Cityzens managed to average at 2.39 points per game, but now we are watching the astonishing collapse of the team.

City started strong as the Premier League kicked off and won their first four games. The team then followed up their initial success with two draws and three more wins to precede the woeful start, by the high standards that the team previously set.

Pep Guardiola has been taking the blame saying that he is simply ‘not good enough’ for the team at the moment, as the team slipped to fifth in the Premier League table.

In their initial success, the Blues have managed to score a total of 28 times in the Premier League season so far. With Haaland scoring on almost half of those occasions, the Blues player comes in joint first with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah with them both scoring a total 13 goals.

They are currently nine points behind first place Liverpool, with 22 games left in the Premier League they need to break their losing streak sooner rather than later - if they want to qualify for the next season's UEFA Champions League group stages.
