Dani Olmo sends wordless message after Arsenal handed major January transfer update
Dani Olmo has sent a message on social media following a major Barcelona transfer update amid links to Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City. The Spaniard joined the Catalan giants from RB Leipzig in the summer and has scored six goals from 15 appearances, but his stint at Camp Nou could conclude far sooner than expected.
Following his arrival, there were problems when it came to registering him as part of their squad but La Liga greenlit a temporary solution until the end of December due to Barcelona's long-term injury issues. With that period of the year now upon us, Olmo will need to be registered again and the club's latest attempt to do so has failed.
An appeal to the Commercial Court number 10 of Barcelona was not successful, though there is still a chance he will be able to continue playing with Juzgado de Primera Instancia, a magistrate court, set to hear a new lawsuit starting next week, a day before the New Year's Eve deadline.

Olmo's agent was spotted in Manchester earlier this week with United and City both having been linked in recent trading periods. The Gunners and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest and he would certainly be a blockbuster signing for one of those clubs to potentially help them finish the season strong.
Barcelona have not given up hope yet but as the days tick by, it looks increasingly likely that Olmo may feel forced to move again just a few months on from returning to his boyhood club. With that in mind, Olmo has sent a message on social media which appears to show he is very relaxed despite his uncertain future.
On X (formerly Twitter), he posted a picture of himself exchanging jerseys with Damian Lillard of NBA outfit Milwaukee Bucks and captioned it with two clock emojis. The 26-year-old also posted a video of himself in Wisconsin which also showed him greeting Khris Middleton before shooting some hoops.
The nature of his trip to the United States is unclear but it was likely just a brief trip away from Spain with the winter break meaning Barcelona are not back in action until January 3, 2025. However, it remains to be seen if the attacking midfielder will actually be eligible to feature
