Leeds United could be without Jayden Bogle and Sam Byram for Saturday's trip to Hull City after both players were forced off in New Year Day's 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers.

The Whites failed to put some breathing room between themselves and the chasing pack at the top of the Championship table against a stubborn Blackburn side.

Farke's men were miles from their best at Elland Road but came incredibly close to adding three points to their tally. However, Danny Batth converted from close range in injury time to rescue a point.

Leeds' injury problems also took a hit on Wednesday with Byram forced off at half-time before Bogle lasted four minutes into the second half before having to come off.

With Junior Firpo already out, Farke's options at full-back may be limited for the trip to Hull. However, despite the two setbacks, the Leeds boss has ruled out the duo's unavailability influencing the transfer business completed in the January transfer window.

"He [Sam] looked tired in the first-half and he's been struggling with a cold," Farke said. "He said he was ready to play but he wasn't at his best. Then at half-time, he also looked pale and he complained about his feet being exhausted. That's why I took him off."

He continued: "With Jayden, unluckier, because he suffered a dead leg and was unable to move. We hope it's not too serious and I hope to have them both for the trip to Hull."

Asked if the injury to Bogle may force the Whites to dip into the transfer market for cover, the German replied: "Our recruitment and scouting departments are prepared for nearly every scenario.

"We can't afford to have four or five players for the same position. Of course, in the background, we've prepared a few things but I don't think these injuries are so serious. No major injuries so I don't think this game will influence what we do in January."
