Daniel Farke felt Leeds United were too slow in their approach against Blackburn Rovers in the 1-1 New Year's Day draw - but credited the visitors for stifling their attacking impetus.

Leeds were frustrated for long periods at Elland Road, but thought they have sealed a narrow win win Pascal Struijk put them ahead from the penalty spot late in the second half. That lead lasted barely three minutes, however, with Danny Batth taking advantage of hesistant defending from a corner to turn home the equaliser.

Leeds have chances to win the game, but with Blackburn defending resolutely, Farke was disappointed that they didn not create more. However, he wants to move on quickkly from the result, with a game at Hull City on Saturday already on the horizon.

"We had problems to create chances," Farke said. "We moved the ball too slow and didn't create many chances in the first. Credit to Blackburn, they defended well. It's always difficult when they concentrate on defending."

"We feel disappointed. We know we can't win all the games but you want to win all the games. We're disappointed it's just one point but you take it and move on."

One consolation was that Burnley were held to goalless draw at home to Stoke City, with Sheffield United playing Sunderland at the Stadium of Light this evening.
