Daniel Levy makes Ange Postecoglou Tottenham sack decision after Everton defeat
Ange Postecoglou retains the backing of the Tottenham Hotspur board, despite Spurs' awful run of results and Premier League position, football.london understands.
Pressure is building on the Australian in N17, with Spurs 15th in the Premier League and closer to the relegation zone than the top half of the table.
Spurs have won just two of their last 13 matches in the top flight, with the most recent result a dismal 3-2 defeat at lowly Everton at Goodison Park. In truth, the 3-2 scoreline flattered Postecoglou's side, who could have been more than 3-0 down at the break before an all too little too late rally in the second half.

Odds have been slashed over Postecoglou being sacked, with a number of names in the frame to replace him at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. However, any talk of the Australian being sacked is wide of the mark, football.london understands.
football.london understands that Spurs remain intent on trying to help Postecoglou rather than removing him from his position and that rumours surrounding upcoming board meetings to decide his fate in these couple of days ahead are untrue.
Spurs have a Europa League game against Hoffenheim this Thursday, to get away fmo the pressures of Premier League football briefly, but return to domestic action on Sunday with a huge clash against Leicester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Foxes are one of only five teams below Spurs in the table and defeat in that clash could change Levy and the Spurs board's mind. Postecoglou has called on the club to hep him in the trnasfer window, with only Antonin Kinsky arriving at the club so far this month.
A horrific injury list has hit Postecoglou hard, with an almost first-choice backline missing for large periods of the season so far.
