Daniel Svensson has already sent Leeds United transfer message as January hint dropped
FC Nordsjaelland defender Daniel Svensson has already expressed his desire for a new challenge away from Denmark amid reports Leeds United are interested in his services.
The Whites are currently light on left-back options with Junior Firpo having only recently returned to the squad following injury. Max Wober has been drafted onto the left flank while Isaac Schmidt has rarely had a look in throughout the Championship season.
If Daniel Farke wants to continue his team's push for automatic promotion, the left-back position is one he will be hoping to address. No surprise then that Leeds find themselves linked with Svensson, according to Sky Germany.

They claim that both Leeds and RB Leipzig are currently observing the full-back over a move in the January transfer window. Fortunately for the Yorkshire club, Svensson has already declared his desire to start a new chapter of his career.
In a recent interview with fotbollskanalen, the 22-year-old explained: "I’m in the fifth season now. The idea is that I will move on relatively soon anyway.
"It’s certainly not impossible (a January exit), but it might happen that I play the whole season and then move on. The club has said that they want to keep certain players for the rest of the season, and I seem to be one of those players.
"It is likely that I will stay for the rest of the season. I have played many seasons in Denmark and especially towards the end it has gone well. I’m absolutely ready (to move on)."
Svensson remains contracted at FC Nordsjaelland until the summer of 2027 which provides the Danish club with a strong negotiating stance. Earlier in this transfer window, it was claimed that Galatasaray were informed that the asking price for the full-back was £6.7m.
