Danny Röhl pinpoints key difference that gave Leeds United the edge vs Sheffield Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday head coach Danny Röhl said Leeds United's strength in depth swung things their way in the Yorkshire derby at Elland Road.
Tottenham Hotspur loanee Manor Solomon’s early strike gave the Whites a flying start. United wrapped up the points late on after a superb cameo from Largie Ramazani. The wide man scored the second goal and was instrumental to Ao Tanaka's strike in added on time.
Röhl said: "The performance between the first and second goal was really brave. A real step forward when I compare from the first game we played them.

"It (3-0) looks like there's a huge gap. This is football. You play against the best team in the league; "I wish them (United) all the best. Daniel [Farke] is doing a fantastic job here."
The German felt Wednesday "dominated" the first half for long periods. He said: "We wanted to be brave and press. When you see the subs from Leeds, you see the difference between the top team and us. We had a big chance from the header with Yan [Valery at 1-0].
Wednesday remain in 10th position, four points outside of the play-off position. "We need to improve in both boxes," admitted Röhl, who hopes to strengthen his squad to boost their play-off aspirations. "I'm convinced we have a good identity at the moment. My wish is we can go all in after the next international break and have nothing to lose.
Next up for the Owls is a home clash with Bristol City on Wednesday evening.
