Darwin Nunez handed Liverpool suspension for what he did against Man United
Liverpool will be without Darwin Nunez for their next Premier League game. The Uruguay international was booked against Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday.
That makes it five for the season for Nunez, meaning he will not be available for the clash at Nottingham Forest next time out.
The forward barged into Matthijs de Ligt and picked up a yellow card midway through the second half. It was a challenge that prompted an angry reaction from a number of United players; Red Devils icon Gary Neville was also unhappy with Nunez's actions while on commentary for Sky Sports.

"He looks at him, it's not a good one that," he said. "Unnecessary."
If the Uruguayan had managed to get through the match without picking up a yellow card, he'd have had to reach 10 bookings for a two-match suspension.
Nunez has been below his best for Arne Slot's red juggernaut this season, scoring just two goals in 14 top-flight appearances. He has been back on the bench recently after a spell of starts, with Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota being used at the point of the attack.
Forest have enjoyed a remarkable campaign so far. Ahead of their game with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night, they are third in the table.
