David Moyes shares update on Vitalii Mykolenko injury as seven Everton players to miss Liverpool
Everton left-back Vitalii Mykolenko is in contention to feature against Liverpool on Wednesday. David Moyes provided an update on the fitness of the Ukraine international at his press conference on the eve of the historic fixture.
The defender missed the 2-0 loss to AFC Bournemouth in the FA Cup on Saturday, with Ashley Young stepping in to replace him.
After a challenging start to the season, Mykolenko has improved under Moyes and has offered more frequent support to Iliman Ndiaye in attack in recent weeks.

The Blues boss was asked about the fitness of the full-back ahead of the Merseyside derby, which will be the last to ever be played at Goodison Park.
"[Mykolenko] started training today," said Moyes. "So he's probably the main one."
Everton do have a number of players who are certain to miss the game. In attack, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Youssef Chermiti and Armando Broja are all sidelined, as is winger Dwight McNeil. Orel Mangala is also out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Asked specifically about Broja and McNeil, Moyes added that both of them would likely be out for a further six weeks.
Nathan Patterson also missed the weekend's clash with Bournemouth, although Moyes did not provide an update on his fitness in the press conference. Captain Seamus Coleman is also out.
