The January transfer window has closed for yet another year - with clubs locking in their squads for the remainder of the season - barring any free agent moves. Tottenham Hotspur had the impossible task of bolstering their injury-ravaged squad in a notoriously difficult window - coming out having made three major deals.

Have your say! How would you rate Spurs' January transfer window? Is it enough to recover and end in a decent position by the end of the season? What remains to be done in the summer? Comment below, and join in on the conversation.

Ange Postecoglou's recruitment team left it late to secure reinforcements in the January transfer window, having spent months getting by on youngsters and out-of-position solutions. The pressure on head coach Postecoglou to recover and deliver a decent end to the campaign is enormous, but chairman Daniel Levy has placed his faith in the Australian to do so.

The first to come was new goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague, replacing Fraser Forster in the starting line up. Guglielmo Vicario's injury was one of the first devastating blows to Postecoglou's team this season, while veteran Forster was unable to convince Postecoglou that he is the man to keep goals out, while Vicario recovers.

The arrival of RC Lens defender Kevin Danso was confirmed on Sunday morning, with Spurs hijacking an existing deal between Danso and relegation-threatened rivals Wolves. Wolves lost out, and Danso joins on a loan with an obligation to make the transfer permanent in the summer.

The signing of Mathys Tel was a late shock and a welcome one. Tel was initially unsure about a move to London, with a personal visit from Daniel Levy to Bayern Munich failing - at that particular stage - to convince the young, under-played talent that Spurs would be the right home for him.

Rumours around Tel's future were flying after that, with rivals Manchester United and Arsenal both in need of new forward players for one reason or another. In the end, Tel changed his mind, and he was on the plane to London on transfer deadline day to join Spurs.

Tel joins on a loan deal with an option to make the transfer permanent in the summer for around £46million. But it remains to be seen if these transfers will be enough to boost the rest of the struggling Spurs squad.
