As part of Manchester United's Trinity along with George Best and Bobby Charlton he was a member of the great Red Devils side which conquered England and Europe.

But he is adored in both sides of the city after his two spells with the Blues, joining them first after introducing himself to English football at Huddersfield Town.

And in Scotland, he is rightly regarded as one of the greatest ever, having been part of the 1967 side that beat England at Wembley.
