Denmark vs Serbia: Euro 2024 prediction, kick-off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h, odds today

A win for either Denmark or Serbia will send them into the Euro 2024 knockouts - while knocking the other side out.

An impressive display against England earned Denmark a point and leaves them second in the group after consecutive draws, knowing victory in Munich will see them through to the knockout stages.

But, with four points enough for a side to go through at least as one of the best third-placed teams, Serbia’s tournament is still very much alive, despite taking just one point from their first two matches.

Even that was hard-fought, coming in stoppage-time against Slovenia last time out, and they now prepare for a must-win clash against Denmark.

A third consecutive draw would be enough for the Danes to reach the next round.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Denmark vs Serbia is scheduled for an 8pm BST kick-off today, Tuesday June 25, 2024.

The match will take place at Allianz Arena in Munich.

Denmark vs Serbia team news

Joakim Maehle came into this side for Denmark against England and added some attacking impetus out wide, so should keep his place.

Mikkel Damsgaard and Alexander Bah are options should Kasper Hjulmand opt to freshen things up, while Yussuf Poulsen is pushing to start up front.

As for Serbia, Dragan Stojkovic has issues to contend with following another limp display against Slovenia.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Nemanja Gudelj were taken out of the XI which lost to England, but Sasa Lukic and Ivan Ilic failed to control the midfield. Dusan Tadic should keep his place though, having been dropped for the opener.

Filip Kostic is injured but there is a headache at left wing-back after Filip Mladenovic was hooked at the break on Thursday, with his replacement Mijat Gacinovic also failing to impress.

Luka Jovic’s late goal against Slovenia may have earned him a spot in the line-up.

Denmark vs Serbia prediction

It is likely to be a nervy affair in Munich, with so much on the line.

Denmark will be in confident mood after their performance against England, pressing high and showing more in attack than they did in their opening match against Slovenia, and they can get the job done here, even if the likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic and Dusan Vlahovic will ensure Serbia carry a real threat.
