Derby County head coach Paul Warne wants at least another two signings this month as the Rams continue their attempts to strengthen the squad.

Fresh from completing the signing of Lars-Jorgen Salvesen from Viking FK for an undisclosed fee, Derby are now concentrating on other areas of the squad.

A central midfielder and a winger are on the agenda with head coach Paul Warne eager to add more strength in depth to his forward line to help them stay clear of trouble at the bottom of the Championship.

More departures are expected and there is expected to be lower league interest in some of Derby's fringe first-team players with Sonny Bradley having already left to join promotion-chasing Wycombe.

But speaking ahead of the Watford game at Pride Park on Saturday (3pm), Warne insisted Derby are by no means finished in the market in what is set to be a pivotal month.

Revealing what he wants to still add to the squad before the window shuts on February 3, Warne said: "I think we need at least another couple of new faces.

"I want to sign another wide player, and I think I need another attacking option, be it in the middle or as a 10. I think we are two players away from where we want it to be realistically. We are a couple away from where I want to be and more players will leave the building.

"That happens at every club in every window. Everything is in place but if something else happens you also have to move. For example, if I lost two centre-backs I would have to get another one of them."
