Derby County interested in Championship striker but transfer hope hinges on one condition
Derby County have reportedly shown an interest in West Brom striker Karlan Grant as they look to bolster their attack.
Head coach Paul Warne is eager to bolster his attacking options for the remainder of the season as they look to climb free of the relegation zone.
And according to the Express and Star, Derby are monitoring his situation as they look to wrap up their final business before the 11pm deadline.

But according to Baggies reporter Lewis Cox, it is thought for any deal to go ahead, Albion would want a replacement in first.
Grant has played 27 games in all competitions this season and has scored six goals, but his pace and experience of the Championship make him a good fit for Derby.
A hamstring injury to Dajaune Brown, which has required an operation, has left Derby with just Lars-Jorgen Salvesen and Jerry Yates as their strikers, although Kayden Jackson can play through the middle.
The news comes after Derby were also credited with an interest in Elie Youan of Hibernian after Stoke registered a £1.5m offer for him over the weekend.
Derby have already made three signings this window with Salvesen being followed by Matt Clarke from Middlesbrough, while Sondre Langas arrived on a £4m deal from Viking FK at the weekend.
The centre-back should be in line to make his debut at the weekend when Derby travel to Norwich City.
