Derby County rivals now want ex-Rams star after loan decision
Cardiff City have been linked with Crystal Palace and former Derby County winger Malcolm Ebiowei.
The former Rams ace had been on loan at Oxford United on a season-long deal, but that deal was scrapped after he made just six appearances. Ebiowei is now expected to leave Palace again on loan now the January window is open and the Bluebirds have been suggested as a potential destination, according to Wales Online.
Interestingly, Cardiff have also been linked with a move for Liverpool forward Jayden Danns, who has reportedly been a target for Derby. But that move has been played down at the Welsh club who are trying to source the ammunition to help them climb out of the bottom three.

Ebiowei, however, looks set to leave Palace again in a move that has not quite worked out since he left Derby for the Eagles in June 2022. He has made just five appearances for the Premier League club having signed him on the back of some excellent performances for Derby, who landed him on a free transfer after he left Rangers.
Palace ultimately had to pay compensation for the 21-year-old who made 16 appearances for Derby under Wayne Rooney and scored one goal in a 2-0 win at Blackpool. After leaving, Ebiowei wrote: "Thank you to the club, staff, and fans. You all made this dream possible. It was short but memorable."
