Derby County rivals suffer major blow as owner confirms worst fears at 'explosive' forum
Derby County's Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday have suffered a major blow after Southampton recalled influential midfielder Shea Charles.
Owner Dejphon Chansiri confirmed the news last night in what the Sheffield Star described as "an explosive" fans forum. Charles has been an excellent signing for the Owls having initially joined on a season-long loan which inevitably saw him linked with Premier League clubs and abroad.
It has since been claimed that Southampton would be willing to allow Charles, who featured twice in two wins against Derby, to stay for the rest of the season if they were willing to cough up an additional loan fee.

The news comes as Chansiri spoke to fans last night in which his relationship with manager Danny Rohl came under scrutiny despite the club sitting comfortably in mid-table.
It came after Rohl told the media that communication with Chansiri had gone quiet with regard to signings in January with the Wednesday boss keen to strengthen.
Chansiri was asked about that last night and admitted that he and the manager had not spoken since last month.
Responding to a question about Rohl, he said: “You ask about an issue? I wonder. I don’t have an issue with him, does he have an issue with me? I don’t know.
"But if you say maybe he has an issue with me but I don’t support him? It’s a no. I support him with everything. I don’t know what we have issue with. What it is, I don’t know? I give him everything, more than (he requested). I don’t have an issue with him, I don’t know if he has or not.
“You need to go out and ask him, or ask the media. The media maybe can tell you, maybe he can tell you what he has an issue with, I don’t know.”
